Been using it for many years (have 3 kdis) and it’s always trusted brand.
I’ve tried most of the lactation supplements and this one is my favorite so far. I didn’t expect a lot because it’s basically fenugreek and some vitamins but for some reason it’s the only one I’ve seen a change with. I exclusively breast feed and never pump so I can’t say how many more oz I produce with this. My baby is 10 months old and my milk is regulated…I don’t leak or get engorged and haven’t since the early days of nursing. When I take these pills and it’s been a couple of hours I feel noticeably “full” and have even leaked some in the middle of the night so I know they have to be doing something. Yes, they do smell like maple and make your sweat and urine smell like maple too but all fenugreek will do that. Keep in mind, fenugreek can sometimes have the opposite effect on some women and actually decrease their supply. If you haven’t used fenugreek before I’d suggest starting slow and monitoring yourself to be sure it doesn’t negatively affect your milk supply.
I am So very glad that I tried these breastfeeding support supplements. I have tried numerous brands of teas and other supplements in pill-form and I must say that these have been the best yet! I couldn’t believe how fast they worked. My little one is going on six months now and prior to taking these I truly couldn’t even feel my milk coming in anymore, constantly worrying and questioning if I was even making enough and used up a lot of my frozen stash.. (she has had colic since birth so it’s really hard to tell with her sometimes). Once I started with these I regained my confidence in making enough and things have been great! I’ve even made enough to pump and freeze 2-5oz. Daily!!! (That is huge for how crappy it has been going) the serving size says 3, so I take 1 with breakfast and 2 with dinner. They are a decent size, don’t have a weird smell to them and no funky aftertaste. I also haven’t had any weird side effects with them like upset stomach or gas issues.. I would definitely recommend them and at that price they truly are a steal!!! Peace of mind for mommy and baby..priceless!!!!!!
I do think the price is fair, and I would still recommend trying to others because all of these types of supplements effect everyone differently. These might work for someone else. It doesn’t hurt to try!
Seemed to increase milk supply by 2-4 oz per day almost immediately which made me very happy.
