Our Most Frequent Questions and Answers
How are orders shipped?
All orders are managed by Australia Post. Successful orders will be shipped within same business days (Monday-Friday) if submitted before 3pm local time. After 3pm orders will be processed the next working day. Once your order has been collected from our warehouse, you will receive an email from Australia Post confirming that the order is on its way and will provide you with the tracking number. You can use this number to track your order on the Australia Post website here.
What are your domestic shipping options and costs?
For purchases over AU$79, standard shipping is free in Australia. For purchases under AU$79, a flat rate delivery fee of AU$8 applies for standard shipping. Most orders are delivered within 3-7 working days from the date we ship your order (depending on where you live in Australia).
How do I track my order?
It’s very important that you keep handy the order number you are provided with upon successfully placing an online order. You would have received this order confirmation number via email. If you are in Australia please go to Australia Post to track your order. If you are located overseas please search for your local postal authority. You will receive an email when your order is received and processing has started. You will receive a separate email from Australia Post when your order has been collected from our warehouse. This email will contain a link where you can track your parcel online. Once your order is in the hands of Australia post, they are best placed to assist you with any tracking related queries.
Where do you ship to?
US/UK/EU are our biggest customers. Following by Singapore, Europe, Canada and so on.
Whilst we try to provide our natural health products to many countries, sometimes due to a large number of fraudulent transactions, customs parcel rejections or high-risk regions, we may reject an order and process a full refund. This is unfortunate but is the better option as we cannot guarantee delivery.
I live in the European Union (‘EU’) or United Kingdom ('UK') and want products shipped to me. Why can’t I purchase your products online anymore?
If you are unable to complete checkout, this means we are unable to ship to your selected country at this time. We regret any inconvenience caused.
I haven’t received my order within the specified timeframe. What do I do?
If your order does not arrive within the estimated time frame please contact our support via email: [email protected], quoting your order number and your tracking number if you have it handy. For international orders, you may need to speak with your local postal service to find out more about the status of your order.
I know I’m not going to be home to sign for my order. What can I do?
Within Australia, we can ship to post office boxes. If you are not at home to receive your parcel, a card will be left so that you can pick it up from your closest post office.
What are your international shipping options and costs?
International delivery times vary according to each country and its postal service. Please enter your shipping address during checkout and our website will calculate shipping fees based on your location. As a guide, most parcels will arrive in your country within 2-21 business days. Actual delivery time frames depend on the speed of your local delivery network. You can track your order online via the link emailed to you by Australia Post.
Do you know if the products can be lawfully imported into my country?
Australia Supplement Warehouse offers its Australian range of products for shipment to most countries around the world. You are responsible for assuring that the product, or products, can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from us, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Orders that are shipped to countries outside of Australia may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties, and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and region to region; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
We are not responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from us, for delivery outside Australia, you or the recipient of record must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Accordingly, you should check any import laws or regulations that would restrict the importation of the goods prior to purchase.
Please visit Australia Post International and select your country to see a limited list of prohibited products. This guide can help you determine whether you need to seek more information from your local authorities.

FISH OILS & OMEGA
There are three main types of omega-3 fatty acids: eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). EPA and DHA are found naturally in fatty fish, such as salmon, tuna, mackerel, and sardines. They are also offered as over-the-counter supplements. Nuts, seeds, and some beans are rich in ALA, which the body converts to DHA and EPA.
Although omega-3s are associated with many health benefits, like better brain function and less inflammation, they’re most often linked with better heart health.
Studies have shown that people who regularly eat fish, especially as part of a Mediterranean diet, have a lower risk of heart disease and stroke compared with those who don’t.
- Fatigue
- Poor memory
- Immune weakness
- Heart problems
- Joint pain and inflammation
- Mood swings or depression
- Poor circulation
The best way to ensure optimal omega-3 intake is to eat fatty fish at least twice per week. However, if you don’t eat a lot of fatty fish or seafood, you may want to consider taking a supplement.
In fact, most of the studies on the benefits of omega-3 use supplements. Good EPA and DHA supplements include fish, krill, and algal oils. For vegetarians and vegans, taking a DHA supplement made from algae is recommended.
When it comes to nutrition, more is not always better. As with most nutrients, there is an upper limit for how much you should take.
According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), taking up to 2,000 mg of combined EPA and DHA per day from supplements is safe.
In high doses, omega-3s have blood-thinning effects. Speak to your doctor if you have a bleeding disorder or are taking blood-thinning medications.

VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS
Supplements as generally understood include vitamins, minerals, fiber, fatty acids, or amino acids, among other substances. Nutrition supplements are intended to provide nutrients that may otherwise not be consumed in sufficient quantities. Nutrition supplements are not a substitute for your food but a nutritional plus.
Multivitamins are one of the four foundations of good health; they are combinations of key vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and essential nutrients.
Some supplements can help assure that you get enough of the vital substances the body needs to function; others may help reduce the risk of disease. But supplements should not replace complete meals which are necessary for a healthful diet – so, be sure you eat a variety of foods as well.
If you think that your diet lacks certain vitamins or minerals, your doctor may recommend a blood test to confirm. For example, if you’ve been vegan for a few years, you may want to check your levels of vitamin B12, calcium, and vitamin D.
No matter what kind of diet you follow, tell your doctor if you have these symptoms:
- Extreme hair loss
- Bone or joint pain
- Serious tiredness
- Irregular heartbeat
- Vision changes
- Wounds that heal slowly
There are a lot of options to choose from when selecting which multivitamin is right for an individual. Consider lifestyle, stage of life, gender, dietary choices, and health concerns.
Another popular consideration is a multivitamin that releases nutrients all at once or gradually over an extended period of time. Many people consider the source of some of the vitamins in the formulation or the type.
Your body needs to consume at least 13 vitamins and 16 minerals regularly to function properly.
A well-balanced diet is the best way to obtain these nutrients. That said, multivitamins provide a good alternative source for those who are unable to meet their nutrient requirements through diet alone.
Multivitamins that provide up to 100% of the daily Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs) are generally considered safe and often free of side effects, as long as you take them as directed.
DIGESTION & SUPERFOODS
Probiotics are made of good live bacteria and/or yeasts that naturally live in your body. You constantly have both good and bad bacteria in your body. When you get an infection, there are more bad bacteria, knocking your system out of balance. Good bacteria help eliminate extra bad bacteria, returning the balance. Probiotic supplements are a way to add good bacteria to your body.
Having the right gut bacteria has been linked to numerous health benefits, including the following:
- Weight loss
- Improved digestion
- Enhanced immune function
- Healthier skin
- Reduced risk of some diseases
Probiotics, which are a certain type of friendly bacteria, provide health benefits when eaten. They’re often taken as supplements that are supposed to help colonize your gut with good microorganisms.
The main job of probiotics, or good bacteria, is to maintain a healthy balance in your body. Think of it as keeping your body neutral. When you are sick, bad bacteria enter your body and increase in number. This knocks your body out of balance. Good bacteria work to fight off the bad bacteria and restore the balance within your body, making you feel better.
Good bacteria keep you healthy by supporting your immune function and controlling inflammation. Certain types of good bacteria can also:
- Help your body digest food.
- Keep bad bacteria from getting out of control and making you sick.
- Create vitamins.
- Help support the cells that line your gut to prevent bad bacteria that you may have consumed (through food or drinks) from entering your blood.
- Break down and absorb medications.
This balancing act is naturally happening in your body all of the time. You don’t actually need to take probiotic supplements to make it happen. Good bacteria is just a natural part of your body. Eating a well-balanced diet rich in fiber every day helps to keep the number of good bacteria at proper levels.
Probiotics are generally well tolerated and considered safe for most people. However, regulations differ among probiotics, so you must be cautious when choosing a product.
In the first few days of taking a probiotic supplement, you may experience side effects related to digestion, such as gas and mild abdominal discomfort.
However, after you adjust, your digestion should begin to improve.

PROTEIN & FITNESS
Protein is a nutrient your body needs to grow and repair cells and to work properly. Protein is found in a wide range of food and it’s important that you get enough protein in your diet every day. How much protein you need from your diet varies depending on your weight, gender, age, and health.
Meeting your protein needs is easily achieved by eating a variety of foods. Protein from food comes from plant and animal sources such as meat and fish, eggs, dairy products, seeds and nuts, and legumes like beans and lentils.
Protein is present in every body cell, and an adequate protein intake is important for keeping the muscles, bones, and tissues healthy.
Protein plays a role in many bodily processes, including:
- Blood
- Fluid balance
- Immune system responses
- Vision
- Hormones
- Enzymes
Protein is important for growth and development, especially during childhood, adolescence, and pregnancy.
Soon after exercising, it’s recommended that you have a serving of high-quality protein (such as a glass of milk or tub of yogurt) with a carbohydrate meal to help maintain your body’s protein balance. Studies have shown this to be good for you, even after low to moderate aerobic exercise (such as walking), particularly for older adults.
People who exercise vigorously or are trying to put on muscle mass do not need to consume extra protein. High-protein diets do not lead to increased muscle mass. It’s the stimulation of muscle tissue through exercise, not extra dietary protein, which leads to muscle growth.
Protein supplements are designed to help meet protein needs if they aren’t being met through diet alone. May be more cost is effective than getting protein through quality whole foods alone. In many cases, lower in calories, cholesterol, fat, and/or carbohydrates than food sources, particularly non-lean meats.
Convenient, and available in many forms such as powders, bars, snacks, and ready-to-drink liquids. Offered in a variety of forms, each useful for different goals and at different times of the day.
Protein Type Functions:
- Whey is a Fast-absorbing protein. Great for growth and muscle recovery, especially when used 30-60 minutes after a workout. Source: Cheese
- Casein is a Slow-absorbing protein. Provides a steady release of amino acids over longer periods of time such as while sleeping. Source: Cow’s Milk
- Plant-Based consists of a variety of protein sources, including rice, hemp, soy, and pea. Generally lactose-free and often free of other components some find undesirable. Source: Varies
- Egg protein is absorbed at a rate between whey and casein. It is Lactose-free and highly bio-available. Source: Egg Whites
Protein deficiency occurs when you don’t eat enough protein. A lack of protein in other countries is a serious concern, especially in children. Protein deficiency can lead to malnutrition, such as kwashiorkor and marasmus, which can be life-threatening.
Very low protein intake can lead to:
- Weak muscle tone
- Edema or swelling due to fluid retention
- Thin, brittle hair
- Skin lesions
- Loss of muscle mass
- Growth deficits
- Hormone imbalances
